Due to excessive rains this spring my spinach has developed cladosporium leaf spots and I would like to know if it is safe to eat, either raw or cooked.

I would not eat that..........cut it short.........and it might come back when the weather is cooler........those those leaves away...........
I do not eat leaves with cladosporium leaf spot because it is caused by a fungus. This article explains it better than I can.
