Received Echinacea Cheyenne Sprit plants.  How far should I plant them in the ground?  Do they come back each year?

Coneflowers are perennials which means that they will return. Annuals die and are gone forever.  I plant mine about 2 to 3 inches apart. Also clip the dead blooms off and save the seeds. Store them for next season or let them dry out and throw them back in the bed. Enjoy ur flowers!!
