Very much so, if you first boil them.  In fact, the native americans use the seeds from the jalapeno's to spice up their meals and have been for many hundreds of years.  They first cooked the seeds in a fire with water and other soup essentials, beef, fish, what have you.  They had no ill effects and the seeds have a mere minor burm to them. -Birdy

I know the seeds are ok I was wondering about the sprouts like alfalfa sprouts or been sprouts
Both Alfalfa and Bean Sprouts are quite edible.  No need to cook them either.  In fact, most restraunts serve alfalfa or bean sprouts on their salids.  I have easten both and they are quite tasty. -Birdy
