should be real soon, we wait for the bees and when they start to sting the fruit we get the fruit pole picker and take them off the trees.........they still be will a little hard...if you leave them on until the a really ripe they will be destroyed by the birds................so we take them on our enclosed porch and lay them in a box what we what to ripen checking them daily and the rest we refrigerate unwashed and as we need them we set them out to ripen. They are not as big this year as they were 4 years ago but we had frost that killed them 3 years in a row.....this fall we need to lime and fertilize them in the spring. Good luck with your harvest. I have neighbors that we give peaches to every year and they say that they taste like the ones when they were kids. When you smell the end of the peach were the stem was connected to the tree you can smell the peach.
