Do skunks eat cabbage?

I have several heads of mature cabbage in my garden. One head has been eaten on with the others not bothered. This has occured on several different nights. Is it a skunk?I'm familiar with rabbits and have had in past years rabbits eating from seveal heads of cabbage, but not just one on different occasions.

ring it with lime to see the feet tracks.............if you don't have lime use regular flour.........make a fence around the cabbage..........use stick on each end hammered in the keep it in place.  They animals love the green one but here they don't like the red cabbage.  We have a 6 ft fence but I think we have a vole or mole chewing ours.  Lime arround the plants help keep them away until it rains again.
