I have identified the Clover Stem Borer bettle (red head and black body) on a robust sunflower plant in my vegetable garden. They fly but have covered dozens of lower leaves with their tiny black eggs. I need to know ,
(1)what their danger is to my vegetables...I don't have clover or alfalfa. Do they damage squash or melons?,
(2) What do I do to get rid of them?
