Please help identify- Sprawling habit, pairs oval leaves, pink 1" sgle blooms , bracts

Bush/shrub has smooth woody stems with small stiff shiny oval leaves in pairs grouped in 6 to eight at end of stems.  approximately 1 inch pink single blooms (4 or 5 petals, only briefly saw one flower that friend showed me) and 2 leaf bracts.  Friend said it produces many plants and the primary is 5 to 6 ' tall
