What are the tiny yellow bugs on my pansies and how do i get rid of them?

My ,pansies are wilting; some blooms are dead before they blossom. Upon closer inspection, there are, tiny little flecks all over them. Upon even closer inspection, there are, tiny yellow bugs, all over them. I assume the flecks are eggs or bug poo. Can I ,save my pansies? They grow in a flower box outside on my patio.

the safest thing to use is after the sun has passed have ready 1 teasp of liquid hand soap w 1 qt water and spray spray spray.....get under the flowers carefully using a flat stick and wet the soil well..............they have laid eggs that are trying to open and produce more bugs....................I don't like to use chemicals....................but if that does not work use sevin................follow directions carefully..............keep children & pets away from the wet area...............wear proper clothing and a face mask and clothes.

The pest is probably aphids.  Use neem oil; it's quite safe and organic.
