Can I transplant cuttings from my geranium plants as the original plants are getting very leggy and are drooping without the aid of stakes.

Root the cuttings in a glass of water on a sunny window sill and once they are well rooted plant them in the ground tied off to plant stakes.

I just break off the stem  and stick it in the ground and keep it watered. Soon it will take root and even bloom. I have several plants started this way. I live in Tampa.
I just cut off the leggy part and stick it back in the same pot and generally it takes beautifully. some times I cut them deliberately to make a new baskets!
