looking for a list salt tolerant trees and shrubs for zone 6 Canada

the soil in this area has a high salt content and I'm having a dificult time grow most plants

we had the soil tested and salt is high for some reason not sure why we have irrigation

which should leech the salt from the soil but it is still high
