All the new growth is being killed off at the stem and the leaves grow in deformed. There is only a few fruit fly type bugs but no other signs of insects. The flim can be scraped off and there is this spiky crystal like growth around all the joints where leaves or new stems should be. The leaves are also being eaten away. It looks like chew marks but I can't find any bugs big enough to eat that much of my plant. There is a bit of mold or fungus growing on the soil in the one planter but its not in the other plants soil. I just separated some of the shoots from one planter to a few new pots with new soil too. All of my impatients are affected by this mysterious illness. I hope this helps.
