I bought fresh collards from the grocery store but only used half of them.  Can I freeze the rest of the fresh collards?

Yes you can, but you have to boil water first and blanch them and drain and put into an ice water bath to cool them fast......drain and finish cooling in refrigerator and when totally cool & dry...freeze on a tray.............then in 2 hours put them in heavy duty zip loc bags and mark & date & get the air out and back into the freezer.
