will my acorn squash continue to grow if the leaves are dead due to cold weather?

The night time temperature has gone down to about 4 degrees celsius and the leaves are dead and the stems seem to be dried up.  The squash aren't quite as big as I'd like them to be.  Will they continue to grow or should I bring them in and eat them now?

You did not mention what zone you are growing them in.  We live in 5a, we picked all of ours.  It has been down to freezing several times.  We stored them on shelves in the root cellar.  Or if you have a cold cellar and a cold closet you can store them for several months.
