how to grow leeks in winter? I have planted leeks in the summer time but since winter is coming in NY I would like to know if I can continue growing Leeks through the winter season.

and Also I have two miracle fruits plants but the trips of the leave are brown I am trying not to over water it but it seems that this is not changing anything, can any one offer an advice?

The link says that it takes a special mix of soil that is acid and has vermiculite in it.   Leeks can be grown in the winter but need lots of mulch around it to keep it from freezing.....maybe a cold frame for the winter would work better.  Easier to take them out of the ground.
