I live in the U.P. of Michigan and would like to divide and transplant my rhubarb plants this fall if possible.  Has any one ever done this in the fall?  I don't want to lose my plants, but in the spring it takes forever for our yard to dry up so I can get to my rhubarb.  By the time I can get to the rhubarb it is already to be cut.

Please help if you can.

Thank you.

It sure sounds like they like all that water.............anyway to make a walkway to it using cinder plants and 18 inch wide wood as a walkway.....................transfer some of them in the fall...........see if they like it where your going to put them.
